Bible Buds is a series of light-hearted conversations between two friends in Portland, OR about the Bible from a non-Christian perspective. Both Dan and Andrew grew up in the church, but neither of them identifies as Christian today. However, as spiritual seekers, both Dan and Andrew still find there to be some deep, universal truths sprinkled throughout the Bible, as well as some hilarious claims, translations, misinterpretations, and prose.

The bud's chat with Andrew's friend from college, Wali Wais. Wali is currently living in Prague. He spoke to us about his Muslim upbringing, how he was treated post 9/11, how his Muslim faith and spirituality have evolved, and discipline. Wali also offers insight on the Quran and the Muslim faith itself, as well as misconceptions about the religion.
