Bible Buds is a series of light-hearted conversations between two friends in Portland, OR about the Bible from a non-Christian perspective. Both Dan and Andrew grew up in the church, but neither of them identifies as Christian today. However, as spiritual seekers, both Dan and Andrew still find there to be some deep, universal truths sprinkled throughout the Bible, as well as some hilarious claims, translations, misinterpretations, and prose.

The buds are joined by Joel Harrison. Joel has a PHD in Religious Studies and is also Andrew's brother. The buds chat with Joel about his religious values, seminary school, and his background in historical studies of religion and the bible, as well as a discussion about the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
The discussion covers Chapters 18-20 of the Gospel according to John.
